Miss the Dragon Boat Festival of my child hood

The Dragon Boat Festival is coming in three days, but up to now, I havn't felt the atmosphere of this festival at all except multifarious Zongzi sold in supermarket.
At such situation each time, I really miss the good times of Dragon boat when I was a little girl. In my hometown, ShanXi province, at every Dragon and Boat Festival, we not only eat Zongzi, but also have different kinds activities: such as drink XiongHuang Wine, Children carry fragrant silk pouches and wear necklace, bracelet which is based on colorful silk thread, since the head to tail, the density has to wear even formed and I like it very much.
Another interesting thing is that dying fingernails in using the flowers of impatiens and mulberry leaves, first make the impatiens flower and white alum stamp crushing, then use the mulberry leaves wrap the fingernails and pounded things up. At such times I was so excited when put this things on my finger, but it maybe would dye the quilt and pillow at night, so I must put my fingers out to the pillow that is indeed uncomfortable but I try my best to bear it for geting my finger beautiful.
At that day , many families will hang various herbs, called Ai Cao, on their door for protection, and all of which can prevent prevent evil. It is also said that if you can balance a raw egg on its end at exactly noon on Double Fifth Day, the rest of the year will be lucky.
Having said that, I think of my family and friends have been the scene of the Dragon Boat Festival. How I miss the time when I was young and we celebrated the traditional Festival.I wish every friend a happy Dragon Boat Festival!
