Xiao Wang, the purchasing agent of the No. 85012 Army Unit stationed in the locality, threw his shopping list on my chopping board,“Cut me seventeen and a half kilos of meat and lend me your motorcycle, Mr. Spectacles.” With a mumbling consent, I handed him the key to the cycle. Reluctant inside but amiable outside, I answered smilingly,“God damn you！ You bastards broke my old one. Now you come borrowing my new one shamelessly. You know, it costs me ￥4,000.” Customers are god and parents on whom our livelihood depends. How dare we businessmen offend them？I was occupying myself in selling meat when the telephone rang. First, I didn't answer it. But it rang ceaselessly. It was a call from Xiao Wang who said the cycle had been seized by the traffic police. He asked me to rush over with relevant papers.“ You stupid jerk！”I cursed him roundly in my mind. How could I go there at such busy hour？I had to told him,“Come back now and leave the bike there.” Hesitatingly ,on and off, Xiao Wang related the matter in detail when he returned. The traffic police live off the road. That's it.  A large number of vehicles had been seized at a check－point near the South Ring Road for lacking necessary credentials. Xiao Wang convinced me confidently, “Don't worry. Our regimental commander knows the police very well. We can claim your motorbike back. Let’s  go there this afternoon.”I nodded in agreement.
