Deportment is the way one displays in standing, walking, speaking or laughing etc. A person of graceful bearing makes a good impression on other people. To have poise, one needs strict training by himself or directed by others. First, he must be tidy in decent clothes ostensibly. Second, he shall look as naturally at home but without any indiscreet manners in public. Elegant demeanour is not necessarily related to one's height, age, sex, looks etc. To have an easy manner, one must cultivate himself inwardly.
