from tomorrow let me be a happy man
who grooms horses, chops firewood
and travels around the world
from tomorrow let me mind living stuff
I will have a house facing the sea
with flowers blooming in warm spring
from tomorrow I’ll write to my family
and tell my happiness to each of them
I will spread to everyone I know
what happy lightning has told me
give a warm name for each hill and river
O strangers, I will also bless you
pray you have a bright future
pray you get married with your lover
pray you get happiness in this world
I only wish to have a house facing the sea
with flowers blooming in warm spring
