Spring seems to forget our city this year, or she has been delayed on her way to our city this year. More than a month has passed since the Spring Festival; nevertheless, we see no signs of spring in the least. The days are squally and cold; the trees are bare; the lakes are frozen in the night. No sigh of new life. People have to muffle themselves up with thick winter cloths, hence bulky and sluggish. I usually detest such a long winter as I could do nothing but watch my beautiful spring dresses hanging in the closet.

The weather lady said this morning that a new cold wind would attack our city from this Wednesday and accordingly rains and sleet would dominate our sky in the half week following. What a shame!
