When I came home last night, it was already 1 o’clock. We had a dinner together to see Lucy off because her contract was expired. She decided to move to Nanjiang to live with her boyfriend. Sitting in the Benz of our boss, I thought it was really ironic, our boss had money, but no youth; I had youth, but no money.
When we came to the S hotel, there were so many limousines around the hotel. All guests seemed to be rich, I just looked at my sport suit and thought I wasn’t harmonious with this luxury place. Because it was on the weekend, there were so many people eating here. We couldn’t have private room, had to eat in the hall.
During dinner, there was a dish of fish I never met before, I asked what fish it was. A fashionable woman next table could not help laughing and looked at me slightingly. Yeah, judging from her tender face and hands, she did herself well. Originally, I should ignore her laughter completely, but in fact, I was blushed and a little awkward.
We eight people spent 2000 Yuan on a dinner and I didn’t think the dinner had anything special. Lucy belonged to the Southeast Asian group of Marketing Department. I was invited because I was in charge of solving technical problems for her clients. After dinner, our boss was a kind-hearted man and said he would go home so that we could have a happy time by ourselves.
The group leader insisted on going to a KTV town with Thailand style. Most of them weren’t good singers and often sang out of tone. But I never knew Julie had a really nice voice and sang even as good as Liang Jingru and Liu Ruoying. I rarely sang but couldn’t escape, using their words, even killing pig, should be once. Not my brag, my singing convinced all of them. Because I had three secret weapons, Love Song 1990, With You Forever and Starry Sky. Every time I went to KTV with friends, I only sang these three songs, there was no reason for me to sing them badly.
Holy Maria, a glass of orange juice cost 50 Yuan. We spent 700 Yuan for only two hours. When we went out, it was already 11 o’clock. Most of them lived nearby, only Julie and I lived far away. When the evening breeze was blowing, it was really cold. The weather of Shenzhen was really weird, two days ago, it was so warm that a T-shirt was enough, but now a jacket wasn’t even enough.
Julie and I stood near the bus stop waiting for bus and I saw her shivering with cold. I was about to take off my jacket, but hesitated, after all, I was only a colleague and she was so shy and had a boyfriend. After a while, seeing her pallid face, I took off my jacket and let her wear it.
When we arrived at T community, it was already nearly 1 o’clock. I saw Julie entered into the building she lived and then turned around. A young girl lived alone outside was really not easy.
When I came to my little room and took a shower. Probably drank too much and I couldn’t sleep. So I turned on reading lamp and finished 50 pages of Gone with the wind and then lay down again and feel asleep quickly.
