1) I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

    我爱你，不是因为你是一个怎样的人，而是因为我喜欢与你在一起时的感觉。

Falling in love is all about the way the girl is, and through it all, you care about who she is rather than the way you are feeling inside.

Caring less about who the person is rather than who you are when you are in love does not make you granduer in any way, but shall only let you fall to the victim of selfishness.

Because love is我的痛苦，我的伤悲，你不需要明了，只要我对你好，这样的爱你要不要。

    2) No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won‘t make you cry.

    没有人值得你流泪，值得让你这么做的人不会让你哭泣。

Life is not a carpet leading to the "Living happily ever after" fairy tale. Cos we are living together, we share all the pain as well as happiness along our life's road.

She will make you cry even if she does not want to.

And that's when even though she makes me cry, she is worth my tears.

为什么我们会在失去了喜爱的人后会伤心？

Cos love is not all about laughter and sweetness. Love is about sharing our life together.

    3) The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can‘t have them.

    失去某人，最糟糕的莫过于，他近在身旁，却犹如远在天边。

Really?

You can never lose what you never had.

从未拥有，又怎谈得上失去呢？

That you can't have her means that you'd never had her, if you'd never had, what's the point in talking about you have lost her?

 

    4) Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

    纵然伤心，也不要愁眉不展，因为你不知是谁会爱上你的笑容。

Be true to your feelings. If you feel sad, frown all you want it to be. Because you never know who is falling in love with your sadness cos in her eyes you are another "Tony Lueng"

伤心就尽情忧郁，因为在她的眼中，你是另一个梁朝伟。

    5) To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

    对于世界而言，你是一个人；但是对于某个人，你是他的整个世界。

Way too mentalistic!

太唯心主义

Your girlfriend is with you cos you share all the truth with her, not all the lies that can't stand.

女朋友与自己在一起，因为我比较老实嘛

动不动就是整个世界

女朋友就会责问，“原来你的世界那么小啊，真没大志，我们分手吧。”

所以Daniel认为此句是经专人训练的，一般人不要学。

 

    6) Don‘t waste your time on a man/woman, who isn‘t willing to waste their time on you.

    不要为那些不愿在你身上花费时间的人而浪费你的时间。

With you, even forever is not long enough.

有你相伴，即使永远也不够远

既然永远也不够远，她怎么狠心浪费心爱的你的时间呢

I know, not willing to waste time is a neat virtue. I know she wants to spend the rest of her life with me, instead of wasting my time.
　

    7) Just because someone doesn‘t love you the way you want them to, doesn‘t mean they don‘t love you with all they have.

    爱你的人如果没有按你所希望的方式来爱你，那并不代表他们没有全心全意地爱你。

Love is compromise. Too much concentration on the way you love someone but not that this someone gets used to will only result in breaking up.

    8) Don‘t try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.

    不要着急，最好的总会在最不经意的时候出现。

Things are always too late when we realize the painful truth, if you love someone, try as hard as you might, cos you never know when she will be robbed away by somebody else.

The one you love needs to feel you have tried your best, for always and ever more.

Just don't be an opportunist in love.

爱情没有投机

    9) Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

    在遇到梦中人之前，上天也许会安排我们先遇到别的人；在我们终于遇见心仪的人时，便应当心存感激。

Is God really that naughty as to play such jokes upon us?    God knows our heart is fragile, He shall not be that cruel to hurt us this way.

It's only that we like to try how love tastes before we obtain common senses. And when we break up, we just give ourselves nice excuses such as this one quoted above.

I believe in love at first sight.
    10) Don‘t cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

    不要因为结束而哭泣，微笑吧，为你的曾经拥有。

Tears help us relieve our pain or they just can't at all. But we still wanna cry cos it is over, and it's not the way we want it to.

I would think that he who smiles when a relationship is over is some kind of monster.

We are only human, not saint.

Love is not a lesson, not some philosophical topic. We cannot help but let tears come to our eyes when such endings occur to us.

Because if I love someone, I want her sharing all the tears and laughters in my past, I want her living her sweet life with me in the unknown future all the more too.

因为我的爱是既要曾经拥有，也要天长地久。
