Love is like soup, the first the best
爱如浓汤，初恋甘滋味
Turns out that our puppy love ain't the one we marry
但天不尽人意，初恋并不是我们的结婚对象
Thus we live with the one beside us
Thinking of the one who gives us everlasting memories
于是我们就牵着同眠枕那个生活
心里却思念着那个给予自己永恒回忆的（这样对得起我们的配偶吗）
We are the Beat Generation of the 1980's

我们成就了80后的颓废一代（实际为美国文学派的“垮掉的一代”，以海明威为代表）

男方角色代入

(正因为同龄，所以女的在初恋后一定会比男的先结婚）

此诗并不是我的经历，只是我们80后的悲剧罢了
每个嘴边的“受伤”，一次又一次
到我们参加她（他）的婚礼的时候
再到我们结婚
抱一个，想一个的时候
我们还有真爱吗

But i can't say i agree with you in some of yr views
When we are young, about the love, we just do a love exercises.
we know and we all hope the first love we can get the good result, but that's impossible or it's very rare.

Then you are cheating on another guy just as you once did me"
This sentence, we can't say which of us is right when we are fall in love, and the only reason is that we don't understand the meaning of love. we should have more experiences, and including the sadness, both boy and girl.
