Pass through the river of time

I dream the  mountaintop far away from me
I stand there 
look into the distance

 

I don't remeber how many times of this dream
when I'm tired
beaten black and blue
I don't want go forward any more
even a small step
it's dark and raining
I lost my way in the mud

 

then a voice sounds around my ear
'the beautiful scenery is just on the corner
not far from here'
insist or give up
it's a question indeed

there is a warm needfire at home back
but in front of me
it's a unknown world full of fear

 

a lightning splits the night
lighten the sky and me
whom I will be and where I will go
I ask myself again and again
I'm all wet in the rain
but I find myself also

my dream is waiting for me at the distance
over the mountains
maybe I'm not strong like an eagle
but I will try my best to fly more higher
it's just my life
painful and is being joyful
on my way
