Plants VS Zombies----Flower Pot (1)

1798 views. 2012-4-17 11:51 |Individual Classification:Fairytale

The war between the plants and the zombies had set the whole world in fire, but only one place was lucky enough to escape this catastrophe----that is Imagine Garden, known as Zen Garden to the outside world.

Well-protected against the zombies by powerful ancient wards, Imagine Garden was like Noah’s Ark untouched by the hell flood, providing not only a safe place for the plants, but also the hope of a race’s survival: if things turned to be the worst, at least some plants could still live happily and safely in this small world.

However,  the plants in Imagine Garden had not realized that they were sort of chosen ones. They had no idea of what’s going on outside, unaware of the doom hanging over their brothers and sisters, unaware of the fact that outside the walls, bloods were shedding, the world was falling apart, homes after homes had been destroyed by their worst enemies. For them, Garden is the only world they’d ever known, and even in their wildest dreams they’d never considered giving up their well-sheltered life.

Flower Pot was a happy-go-lucky little thing who had been born and raised up in Imagine Garden. With a smile that could light up the sky, Flower Pot was well loved by all the plants in the garden. Dottingly, they called him Poty for short. Everything was perfect: water always came when he was thirsty, bug spray drove all the annoying insects away, and the music started playing whenever he felt uncomfortable, even only the slightest bored. He had everything he wanted, and he was no use for word like “sorrow”, “misery” and “tear”---only happy and laughter.

One day the sun was shining and the sky was clearly blue like always, after spent hours chasing after a butterfly, Poty finally felt tired. He feel sleep under Wisdom Tree and soon had a strange dream.

It’s funny how the Fate made a line of demarcation for a plant with such an insignificant, daily routine thing---a dream. At the moment of felling into this dream, Poty's life split into two distinct epochs: Before the dream and After.

Before the dream, he floated through life from one happy moment to the next. Before, he thought he knew everything, he thought he knew where he fit, and exactly what his future would bring. After the dream, everything had changed.

In this dream, Pot walked out of the wall and saw everything with his eyes, all the bloody details, and for the first time, he set his eyes on the most ugly, terrible creature---the zombie.

To be continued.

"Tell me a story" my son asked. "Ok, how about Red Cap?" "No, already heard of" "Snow white?" "No." "What do you want to hear ?" "How about "Plants VS Zombies" ?" his little face lit up in expectation, and I had no options but made up stories about his favorite game. Childish, immature---I know. but whatever...

Wow, you really made my day! With your guys' encouragement, certainly I would keep going with this story. I don't believe the company would be interested, besides, I write simply for fun and to entertain my son, writing for anything else might be too many pressures
