Eager to improve my writing ability
How to improve English writing ability is always my main concern in my work. As a staff working in university, I have much chance to talk with foreigners and there is no problem with my oral English. What worries me is my poor writing. My purpose of writing English is not to make other understand，which I think is still in basic level. My dream is having the ability to write correctly and elegantly.
Some of my Dioenglish friend’s language is really admirable. For example, Moli’s writing style is naturalistic and concise, SmilingAngel’s writing is so philosophical, penetrating and mind-provoking; danielrayslee’ s bilingual writing is precise and fluid; bluephoebe’s writing represent her profound writing skills (professional writing with large vocabulary) and etc. I really hope that I can write as good as them. And I really believe that I can improve myself as long as I write.

- I also find the same problem. I'm kind of relaxed now somehow. According the the statistics, only if one writes 1 time a day 3 weeks in a row, can she/he upgrade writing one more level. If that action fails to follow, it means the skill goes back the lower one. How does that sound?
We'd better just enjoy and soak up the best of it, then accumulate bit by bit as time goes by...

Are you an English teacher? Since you have many chances to communicate with foreigners,your oral English should be quite good.
I only talked to foreigners several times, with our oral English teachers.

- I am working in Foreign Affairs office in our university. My colleagues from foreign exchange office can write elegantly and speak fluently, but my English level is poorer because I only speak in my work.

- Frankly, your written English is above average. All you need to do is read more English newspapers, practice writing frequently. Nobody is born with good English skill, we all have to acquire it, word by word, sentence by sentence, page by page. You are doing fine.

- Actually, I think your written english is very good. You compared your english with your foreign colleagues', the contrative partner's level I think is higher than our english learners'.
