July 5th,after the day on which I said I wanted to go to Xinjiang for travel ,the riot broke out .God prevented me to go there! It is astonishing that the rioters killed at least 156 innocent Han people and made over 1000  injured. Many people were beat to death and a lot of cars and houses were burned to ashes. How scaring and cruel it is! It is said an old ugly woman with complex political background masterminded this riot. It’s hard to image this riot has happened in peaceful time when everybody are leading a well-off life and the policy that the regional autonomy of minority nationalities has been made. It seems this rebellion just followed the one in Xizang last year but it was far more serious. There are so many unsteady political factors in these two regions. Some Uyghur people must have deep-seated hatred against Han people. Why? Maybe history and recent political situation can explain this, I was too innocent to figure it out. I guess the reason is complicated, not only concerning hatred, but interest as well. Some groups is eager to let Xinjiang be independent .

News on CRI told that the condition in Xinjiang become much steady now, there are police for safeguarding the safety of residents though not for searching rioters. People are calm and smiling face can be seen on the streets, said the journalist, which just aims to comfort the public, I suppose.
