My reflection:

It is not until we speak that others can hear what we are thinking. It is undeniable that the more we speak, the more mistakes we make, yet it is the only way we can improve our skills of speech. To be silent we appear to be intelligent and mature, however it is deceiving ourselves (I am not intending to offend those who are really wise and prefer to be silent on many occasions.). 

Politicians are always required to be good at wheeling and dealing. Their speeches are highly associated with their countries or at least people who support them, therefore, they have to be meticulous in their behavior and words. When they fail to respond in certain situations, they will remain silent as if they were stupid. However, it is just a part of their tactics. In a way, they are subject to the manacles that severely limit their freedom, though they own great wealth and fame.

History is always the version people agree upon. This helps explain why Japanese has a different version of the history of the Massacre in Nanjing.

"It is success makes great men." Failures become valuable only when their owners become successful. Without the final success, no one will pay any attention to the failures occured in their roads to success. It will not be exaggerating to say that no one would appreciate Bill Gates' dropping out of college provided he did not succeed.
