Look what’s happened to create new jobs
The new iPad’s updated set of apps ranging from photo -editing to games with better graphics wow the fans.
And they creat jobs, too.
A new report conducted by techNet, the association of high-tech companies, found that in the last five years, 466000 jobs werer created in the “App Economy”in the US.
However, the economy didn’t exist until 2007 since the debut of iPone. And all indications are that the App Economy will only continue to grow.
Michael, Mandel, who conducted the report, told the Los Angeles Times that, “Every major consumer-facing company, and many business-facing companies, has discovered that they need an app to be the public face of the business.”
“This makes the App Economy the construction sector if the 21st century, builing a new front door to everyone’s house and in some cases constructing a whole new house.”
He has listed online lessons drawn from APP Economy’s success, which may help expand our thinking.
1. Innovation creats jobs: Its rise has become entirely new source of jobs for programmers and those who fill ono-techical positions such as sales.
2. Cooperation matters: App Economy is like a colletion of interlocking(关联的) ecosystems(生态系统), it consists of a core company, which matains a platform and an app marketplace(Google, Blackberrry, Windows), plus companies that produce apps. Apps that run on iPad can access data from Google Maps. This shows how teamwork will shape our future.
