Students at two universities in the western municipality recently launched an online contest about the toughest climb on compus.

Chongqing university of Post and Telecommunications sugessted a walkway of hundreds of stairs. Out of breath students have to take breaks climbing the stairs.

South Western University of Political Science and Law suggested a 200-meter hill dubbled ”the slope of despair”. After pictures and comments were posted the locations became the hot spots for slimmers and exercise lovers.

Studens displayed their own inventions at a campus job fair held in Liaocheng university recently. One student demonstrated an automatic water heater.

Wang Xianyong, head of the electrical department said that students’ efforts to apply their knowledge could halp them land a job when employers are focusing more on practical skiis, especially for sceience students.

More than 1000 students applied for a training program at Hainan airlines during the company’s campus talks in Hong Kong over the weekend.

More Hong Kong and Macao students are seeking mainland jobs. Shen Jiahong, a graduate from Hong Kong Polytechnic University, told 21st century that many of his peers are targeting mainland enterprises for work because of the vibrant economy.
