She met him in college. After graduation, they fell in love and got married. A year later, she gave birth to a child, so she decided to be a full-time housewife. In the next few years, he had a very successful career so that he earned so much money. They bought a car and three houses. However, she felt that he changed a lot, for example, he always made some excuses not go home, and said no word even he stayed at home. In order to protect her right, she and he signed an agreement which announced she would own all the property if he had an affair outside that might lead to divorce. She thought this agreement was a guarantee.
But a year ago, he asked for a divorce that she wouldn’t expect, she disagreed his require. Since then she often received a call from a strange woman, utill then she knew that divorce was inevitable.
She sued to the court for a divorce and asked the court to carry out some items that they signed in the agreement before, but the result was beyond what she chould expect. She just got two houses. In addition, she had to pay the mortgage. The kid is raised by her, and he needs to pay her 1,000 yuan per month as child’s maintenance.
I want to say something about the story. She is a well-educated woman. Of course, it is hard to say it is right or wrong that she wants to be a full-time housewife. But when she signed the agreement with her husband at the biginning, she had buried the bomb in marriage that disappointed him. In addition, she had to ask money from him because she had no work, by the way she knew little about what is happening in the socitey, which pulled away the distance between them.
I clearly remember what my father told me before I got married: A woman should live independently, work independently, and finance independently.
