I have been working for almost ten years since I started working in 2001. Frankly speaking, I have experienced a lot in work, and I have a deep feeling about work. Now I can deal with work easily, what’s more, I really enjoy myself at work. So I am going to write some stories that happened to me in my career life. I hope the stories can benefit you.

We can’t avoid having meetings at work.

A meeting was held every Thursday when I worked for a foreign company in 2012. Before meeting, the boss would send an E-mail about what the meeting was about, and who need make preparation. At meeting, we had coffee and snacks, which was a pleasant thing. Everyone needed to make a presentation. The first time, I was too nervous that nobody can hear what I said. After that, the boss said:” Marry, you did good job. It would be better if you speak a little slower.”

I suggest that you don’t talk about your work plan if you find it difficult to finish it, or the boss would think you are an impractical man. Don’t be late for meeting, and let all wait for you. At meeting, please set your mobile phone to vibration state. If the phone is urgent, please go out and call back again. To be frankly, sometimes the meeting is boring so that we feel like sleeping, but you should cheer up and listen to others patiently, for you could probably meet the same problems as them. It is your turn to report work, speak loudly and tell all what you have done. If the boss asks for advice, don’t hesitate to stand up and speak it out if you have a good idea in your mind. Don’t worry about whoever would think about you. The boss can know more about everyone at meeting, so you should have a right attitude towards work.
