Pave the way

526 views. 2012-10-17 10:15

My daughter is studying in grade three in junior high school. You can’t imagine how hard the school life is like. I take my daughter to go to school at 7 am in the morning, and we get home at 7 pm at night. What’s more, my daughter has to stay up late to do much homework until the midnight. Later she goes to bed at 11 pm whether she finishes her assignment or not, and she gets up at 5 am the next morning. She adjusts herself in order to pave the way for the high school entrance exam next year.

Speaking frankly, I seldom use English in my work, but I am keen on English. I read English newspapers and sometimes I write English blogs. I learn about foreign culture by watching one or two foreign movies each week. I have a dream that I want to go abroad with my family in the future, so I need to make efforts to study English.

What we do now is to pave the way for the future, because we are looking forward to the future.

Nowadays, children have to work harder than before, but the endeavor doesn't mean success in the future. That is the situation.

The students have no choice but do as the teacher tell.

Yes, that's the truth. The children who were told to be themselves at home are punished at school, because they are "different" at school.

The exam-orientated education is not beneficial for children,I hated homework before.I hope my daughter have more time to play and learn other aspects.

But the students have no choice.
What a pity!
