I started learning English in the junior high school. I liked English very much, and always got the high grade on the test. My classmates were willing to turn to me when they had the difficulty with English. I got 106 on the College Entrance Examination.
I was admitted by a college in Shanghai in1995. I surprisingly found many learned English well in my class. I got only 54 on the CET-4. Some who failed the examination were going for CET-4 again, however I gave it up.
My first job was being a custom service. Once the personnel manager received an English invitation letter, I helped her to translate, she was quite satisfied with my job.
I and other 10 people took part in the interview in a foreign company in 2003. We were required to finish an examination paper, then talk with the boss in English. I was so lucky to be the only one employed.
In order to improve my English level, I attended the English interpretation course. I did benefit from the teachers, but I failed again due to lack of full preparation.
I was in charge of foreign trade in a company in 2006. I was proud of myself, for I successfully contacted the clients from South Korea and England, who had become our cooperation partner.
I seldom use English in my current job, but I have passion for English as before. I am fond of reading English newspaper and watching program related to English. I have my own English blog, and I like to write diary and make comments.
On the way to learn English, please keep the sentence in mind, which goes”practice makes perfect.”
