About seven decades ago China had a hard long march. Though since 1978 China developed rapidly, I reckon in the field of education we still have a long march.
Our government has put much money in developing education recent decades, but we know "冰冻三尺,非一日之功”, we have to do it step by step. This summer vocation i teach English in a small villege . My students shocked me a lot! All they want is playing computer games, almost have no thirst of knowledge. I have tried my best to help them and everytime failure comes to c me .....
There is a big quility gap between well-educated and poor-educated children, between children in the city and children in the countryside. I support the reasons r as follows: on one hand, it's the cruel fact----the environment around them, the education standand of the countryside , etc. On the other hand maybe it's their parents' responsibility, they don't know how to teach their kids properly.
What a shame!
