A Piece of Life: In Dedication to the One I Love
A cup of coffee, so fragrant;
A piece of candy, so sweet;
A ray of sunshine, so warm;
A puff of breeze, so refreshing;
A book on my lap, so soothing.
My coffee is not Starbucks,
It's made from a bag of Nestlé;
My candy is of plain wrapping and common flavor,
Not the one with fabulous appearance and exotic taste;
The sunshine does not meet me everday,
She comes according to her own will;
The breeze sometimes plays a trick,
Meddling with my book's paper.
----This is a piece of my life:
Not luxurious at all,
With occasional disappointment and embarassment,
But it's simple and nice.
And I love it so much.

- truly nice and warm, while reading your poem. i've never tried writing any poems but i can feel the wonderful tastes and the beautiful form that meets my eyes.
