Maybe you're right ,just regrd it as some easy issue. You can be successful!

In fact, it is hard to find a balance between them. Maybe a better way to deal with this issue is that just focus on one thing each time, that means do not want to succeed in accomplishing both of them at one time.
    Enjoy the process of each one, then you will hardly  feel you are wasting time...
