Hello! Dear friends.
I am a common girl from Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. I have just graduated from college.
My major in college is politics. As I am a positive member of Dioenglish, you can easily guess out that I am very fond of English. And I confess that I have spent most of my college time in learning English.
Like many other students, I've taken the Postgraduate Admission Examinations for English Majors, and now I am admitted to the Foreign Language College of Suzhou University, free of three-year tuition.
You can hardly believe that I have chosen to relinquish this opportunity. Because I have passed the Entrance Examination for Political Teacher, my parents hope that I can grasp this chance and secure myself in this society where the job market is becoming more and more competitive.
There are two paths. One is to realize my English dream, the other is to be realistic and go to teach politics. And I chose the latter, not without consideration of my parents and my own future.
Though the decision has been made, and I'll be a teacher in September. I cannot think of that with complete composure, because what I've given up is as equally important for me as what I've chosen.
Now, my dear friend, what's your opinion towards my choice. And if you were me, what would you do?

Sorry to hear that. It is really a hard decision to make. I am a university student. As for me, I don't want to spend three more years in university for MD. Can you take English as your hobby, not as your job?

You can't have your cake and eat it. Just choose to do whatever we are dying for.Because that's our own choice, we'll never regret for it. Don't put yourself into a
complicated situation. Nobody can force you to do anything,or you'll live in others' shadow forever!

Yes. Maybe taking English as a hobby is better. Because one may get bored with his job, but can rarely get bored with his hobby. Hobby can be one's companion for a life time.

Hey, I don't want to bother you once again. But I am really serious about this, will you feel happy teaching politics? You know you have worked so hard at English when you are at university. And your English must be very great now. Will you regret giving up it? If this is your own decision, then you will be responsible for it. You know, I don't want to influence your decision. Can you ask some professors for advice?

Yes, I've asked the professor who teaches American literature in Suzhou University, and he just said a sentence: "Genuine gold shines wherever it is. " If someday I want to pursue a higher education, I can take the Postgraduate Admission Examinations again.

Actually, you can study English in your free time and try to get a master degree of English, as far as i'm concerned, most schools encourage teachers to improve their degree level.
