Ancient Town
There are many "Ancient town" in Yunnan, such as Lijiang Shuhe Ancient Town, Dongba Old Town, Shiyang ancient town, but it's a pity! all those ancient town is not "Ancient" any more, coz it was destoryed in 1996 years' earthquake with 7 level, most ancient town were ruined and many lives were buried in the ash... The "ancient town" we saw is built after earthquake, luckily, most building handcraft still remain, most of them are fine workmanship,walls embossed with a lifelike design of many flowers, birds, dragons, trees, shops, people, boats, bridge, etc.

- I didn't know there are ancient towns in Yunnan. Earthquake damage can be repaired, so I hope they can recover the ancient towns. I have made a note to visit when I go to Yunnan.
