Climb Wutong Mountain
Wutong Mountain is 943 meters' high, while the hardest way to Wutong peak is about 4500miles and it may cost 4 hours up to the mountain and three more hours to get down from there. That is the road I picked yesterday.
I invited six of my friends there, but three of them gave up and choose to stay at home. I got up at 7 o'clock and arrived at the foot of Wutong Mountain at 9:30. It turns out I was the first one there but there were also many mountaineering enthusiasts(登山爱好者) there too. Twenty minutes later, I received a call from my friend and I was told they(the other three friends) got to the wrong way to a small Wuong mountain. Fortunitely the small one is connecting with the mountain that I was about to climb. So I was alone there.
The way to the peak covers 4500 meters that I chose, but it turns out a great place to enjoy myself.I was not lonely coz there were many mountain climbers companying with me. The road is a bit narrow and steep, which can only hold a person for a stone step and there are thousands of steps I think. I heard the sound of running water before I saw the foaming water, which turned out a fall from a higher place and it surprised me the fall came from almost 3800 meters far away and dropped from top, which also confused me where's the source of water.
It took me more than three hours when I walked about 4000 miles, and finially I got contact with the other three friends from another mountain, so we chose Phoenix Palace Teastall(凤凰台茶庄) as our meeting place. After 40 hours climbing, we met at last. But the path lead us to the foot of mountain was tough and took us three and half hours there.
The jouney was not that smooth as I thought, and I found both my leg and shank is kind of sour pain this morning but it's really a great weekend!
