有趣的星期天(An interesting Sunday)
Last Sunday. Li Lei went to a mountain with many books. What a nice day!
The sun was shining brightly. The bird was singing. Li Lei walked on the top of the mountain. There was beautiful grass. He sat down and began to read one of the books there. He read very carefully. Li Lei liked reading. His hobby was reading. He said that the books gave him knowledge and made him happy.
Half an hour later, Li Lei finished reading the first book. He felt very happy. But when he wanted to read a second book, he found the books were lost. He looked for them everywhere. But He couldn't find them.
Li Lei was very worried because these books were not his own. He borrowed them from the school library. If he couldn’t find them, he would pay for the lost books to the school library. So he had to go on looking for them. Suddenly he found two books on the grass. Li Lei went on looking for the other books. To his surprise, he found a baby monkey under a big tree reading his books. It looked very happy and it was reading the book very carefully. Look! The monkey was reading with a big smile.
“Oh, monkeys need reading too. Maybe they could understand books and get knowledge from them too.” What an interesting story! What an interesting Sunday!
