我能看见月亮
The old man was a witness in a burglary trial.
The defense lawyer asks Sam, "Did you see my client commit this burglary?"
"Yes," said Sam, "I saw him plainly take the goods."
The lawyer asks Sam again, "Sam, this happened at night. Are you sure you saw my client commit this crime?"
"Yes," says Sam, "I saw him do it."
Then the lawyer asks Sam, "Sam listen, you are 80 years old and your eyesight probably is bad. Just how far can you see at night?"
Sam says, "I can see the moon, how far is that?"
山姆老头在一起盗窃案庭审中充当证人。
辩方律师询问山姆：“你看见了我的当事人实施这起盗窃行为？”
“对，”山姆说，“我清楚地看见他拿东西。”
律师又问：“山姆，这是在夜间出的事，你确定你看见了我的当事人实施了犯罪行为？”
“对，”山姆说，“我看见他干的这事。”
律师接着问，“山姆，听清楚，你80岁了，而且眼神可能也不行，在夜间你也就能看到多远呢？”
山姆说：“我能看见月亮，那是多远？”
