Italy: How did you ever get here
One winter morning, an employee from Italy cautiously explained why he had shown up for work fifty minutes late, “It was so slippery outdoors that for every step I took ahead, I slipped back two.”
The employer had a suspicious look at him. “Oh, yeah? Then how did you ever get here?”
“Finally, I gave up and made my decision,” he said, “to start for home.”
意大利： 你是怎么来这儿的？
一个冬天的早晨，一名意大利雇员小心地解释他为什么上班迟到了五十分钟，“室外太滑了，以至于我每向前迈一步，就要向后倒滑两步。”
雇主怀疑地看了看他。“噢，是吗？那你是怎么到这儿来的？”
“最后，我决定放弃上班，”他说，“开始往家里走。”
